I started Ghillie® with a vision to create more than just clothing – I wanted to build a community rooted in timeless outdoor values. As someone who grew up fishing, farming, and hunting, I’ve always been connected to the land. My childhood was shaped by a rural community that passed down knowledge, shared responsibility for conservation, and took pride in functional, durable gear.
In my twenties, I noticed that this way of life was fading. Misinformation, social media noise, and urban detachment were eroding respect for traditional countryside values. But I also saw how in places like Canada and New Zealand, certain brands were doing something different. They created clothing that wasn't just functional, but symbolic of a lifestyle.
That’s what I wanted for the UK. Ghillie® was born to honour the real stewards of the land. We build well-made outdoor garments that represent a philosophy – timeless design, responsible production, and a deep-rooted respect for nature and heritage.
